I spent a good chunk of 2015 in Nepal, for several reasons. I needed to do some writing, and it seemed like a good place to roost.
After five years in the disaster business, it seemed like a good idea to get lost in a far off corner of the world and record some thoughts. It was a prolific time, as I did my best to recollect and record disasters from all over the world.
Nepal would shortly thereafter be hit by it's largest earthquake in a century.
The full story has become a writing project which is still under development. So there aren't many details here. But please reach out if you'd like to talk about Nepal.
From 2010 to 2012, I had the honor to lead an incredible and inspiring group of architects, planners and builders on the reconstruction after the Haiti earthquake. There are too many heroes to name, but they left their mark on the world. Go to Haiti, you can see for yourself.
Top Secret. Coming soon. Nothing to see here. Move along.
